It leads tothe threatened medical quality, causing raised stress levels among staff and patients in EDs, and mostimportantly, adversely affecting patient outcomes. Emergency patients waiting for hospital course, one is waiting for referring physicians with decisions hospitalized or not. Wait referring physicians often become one of the main emergency patients stranded. Therefore, this experiment assumed that by improving consultation system, reduce contact consultation time-consuming, can significantly improve emergency patients waiting for hospital stay, thus improving the patients treated at the hospital process, the waste of human and material resources to reduce emergency. This is a prospective study investigating ED overcrowding at this medical hospital from February 2011 through January 2012. The hospital from August 2012 to simplify the consultation system, patients hospitalized or not by the emergency physician absolute discretion, consultation limited to the necessary sub-specialties to assist. We analyse the Emergency quality control indicators such as changes in the average time of the ER stay, changes in the the average ER costs and the ratio of unintended back to the hospital within 3 days. This study suggests that consultation process is the one of the most important factor of ER stay time.
