Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 101 === The purposes of this study were to investigate the current status of teacher teaching styles and student learning satisfaction of health and physical education classes in elementary schools within Guanyin Township, Taoyuan County, and to compare the differences on the dependent variables between/among students with different background variables. The study conducted a questionnaire survey on elementary school grade 5-6 students of Guanyin Township, Taoyuan County, using a researcher self-developed tool, the “Teacher Teaching Styles and Student Learning Satisfaction of Health and Physical Education Classes Survey”. A sample of 309 subjects was selected by convenient sampling technique to participate in the survey. A total of 303 valid responses were collected with a valid response rate of 98.1%. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis. The study concludes: (a) subjects of “Small-size” schools had a significantly higher perception level on the “Creative Type” teaching style than those from “Large-size” ones; they also had a significantly higher level of perception on the “Interactive Type” teaching style than “Medium-size” school subjects; (b) male subjects had significantly higher levels of satisfaction on the “Teacher’s Instruction” and “Learning Effects” subscales than female ones; “Large-size” school subjects had a significantly higher level of satisfaction on “Peer Relations” than those from “Medium-size” schools; and, (c) there were significantly positive correlations between the overall and subscale scores of teacher teaching style perception and the overall and subscale scores of student learning satisfaction.
