Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔英科技大學 === 生物科技系碩士班 === 101 === Classical swine fever virus (CSFV) is the causative agent of a highly contagious disease in pigs. The commonly used vaccine in Taiwan against CSF is an attenuated LPC strain of CSFV and tissue culture swine fever live vaccine. But it can’t be completely isolated from the occurrence of disease, due to uneven quality and effectiveness of classical swine fever vaccine and poor monitoring of classical swine fever epidemic that. However, the main reason is the lack of detection of classical swine fever related tools. CSF is caused from classical swine fever virus (classical swine fever virus, CSFV), The outer envelope of CSFV includes proteins Erns, E1and E2. Of which, Erns and E2 protein have been shown to induce the host to produce antibodies, and effectively protect pigs from CFSV infection. In this study, a recombinant plasmid containing E2 gene was constructed for the production of recombinant E2 protein. This recombinant E2 protein will be used for multi-strain or monoclonal antibodies, as hog cholera disease diagnostic reagents, detection of classical swine fever and classical swine fever virus titer vaccine production.
