But, how to get the knowledge in books is as important as to do the knowledge by traveling. Travel changed the way and form by following the footprint of human beings. And today, there is no any unknown dangerous and adversity on a journey anymore. Because of the economic growing, people's salary higher and higher, the life is getting better, government pushed the sightseeing strategies...etc., in Taiwan, Travel and tourism grow very fast. So Taiwanese films of traveling had a chance to develop in this time.
This research chose 7 Taiwanese films, which topic is "travel" between 1999- 2011, like"Wolvers Cry Under The Moon","The Road in the Air","Island Etude","The Most Distant Course","God Man Dog","Leaving Gracefully". Watch the films, do research, and we will talk about the true meaning of travel in Taiwanese films from 3 parts--
1. The point of the story.
2. Who is "others" in the films?
3. The cycle structure.
In Taiwan, It had a lot of power and experience in travel. We had many books and films on travel. This research not only understand the meaning of "travel" but also increase the view of "movie". And also made a point and a reference for others who do the same research. Hope I could discover the unknown place to me in the future, and know more meaning about travel.
