碩士 === 華梵大學 === 建築學系碩士班 === 101 === There is a downfall of small village which is Shui-Nan Dong located in the North-eastern of Taiwan and most of the residents works for farms, fishing, and mining. The mountain, the sea, the river, the tunnel, the pit and the fall in the mountain links with the Yin-Yang Sea and becomes a golden legend of the residents’ life. Shui-Nan Dong located is a small and quiet village located in the north-eastern of Taiwan, and it in back of mountains but in front of the sea. Most of residents lives along the mountains and becomes the terrace. Shui-Nan Dong is famous for the caves in the back of the mountaom because it looks like the Shui-Nien Dong of The Journey to the West. The cave faces the seas and have special geological ecology. In addition, due to the history of mining, the full bloom of copper smelter was the biggest gold smelter in Asia. Although the sun set of it, the polluted historical sites of the Yin-Yang sea, Shui-Nan Dong Copper Smelter, the Tunnel, the Thirteen-levels’ Coat Factory, the Golden Fall and the Li-Yueh Copper Smelter become its local character. 　　The full bloom but forgettable place used to full of cultural characters to create some attractive cross-traditional sights. By collecting the research information, to realize their attitude and thinking by interviewing with the local residents and hope we can design the local activities of searching the Golden Town treasuries and mix the new local arts to create the model of future development. It is not only the meaning of keeping the local cultural but also the colorful and happy atmosphere to bring more and more people. It will become the local character and inspire Shui-Nan Dong’s potential of the local and cultural industry.
