Development strategy, the product functional requirements, is defined as the main customized products, structural qualitative processes for product development; visual needs of the product is defined as a secondary customized product, qualitative change in the appearance of the product development processes. The use of systematic classification and definition of methods, depending on the complexity of the products into different planning processes in order to increase the efficiency of product development, and thus the value of the product to create diverse, strengthen the company's operating structure and competitiveness, but also can extend the product life, enhance product added value. Product "Custom" does have its necessity and value market demand, and "customized" product development, the emphasis is rapid and flexible response to change and flexibility, can not be applied generally new product development plans and programs, Therefore, metal furniture industry should be "customized" products as the demand for alternative new product development opportunities. In reference to customer needs, marketing ideas and "customized" product development practices and other related information, can be "customized" products as a "custom of improved new products". This research investigated Taiwanese metal furniture industry body corporate design strategy implementation overview, focusing on aspects of design activities to understand the formation of design strategy, execution, as well as the interaction between high-level strategic analysis of the situation and cooperation in order to strengthen the design activities related to design strategies An Empirical Study. For this study, A, D, K, R and three other public seating manufacturers actual survey interviews, the study found that "differentiation and cost reduction" strategy forms the core of the design strategy, designed for communication and coordination to be more interaction.
