Cultural differences are influential more on the color connotations in Chinese and Western. In our daily life, colors play a primordial role in our life. Five major colors are represented Chinese in Feng Shui and the four major colors are replaced in English. We will examine the color terms in five of the Grimm Tales. The colorful color is not only bringing children abounding imagination, innovation, and full of entertainments. Colors can enrich Grimm tales vivid memories for children for life. Colors can reveal identify in customs in various occasion. Colors in various lexical representations can be interpreted semantics in denotation and connotation.
