The rapid development of communication technology has changed people’s communication forms and the ways of obtaining information and has affected journalists’ daily job routine. The job design is more focused on teamwork, compared to individual. Besides, the trend of communication digital convergence has changed the job competence required by journalists. A journalist needs to be multi-skilled and able to work in team. Human capital is key factor to increase organizational competitive advantage and job competence is crucial for job performance. Therefore our research not only discussed on the impact of TMS on journalists performance, but also the influence of management competence on journalists performance, whether it is a direct or indirect relationship. At past there are very few research on journalists teamwork, our research explore the interactive relationship from the perspective of competences to improve team management. We hope to contribute in TV journalists management from both theoretical and practical aspects.
