After some additions and reconstructions, it has been reestablished in 2001, The rebuilt temple is magnificent, and it has a towering bronze statue, Techno Neon Gods, standing on the roof of the antetemple. The thesis focused on the research and related themes of the Shuei-Shing Temple, mainly pointed to the history, the character of the host worship gods and matches worship gods, the building style and decoration, the rite of Shuei-Shing Temple, The purpose is to analyze the character of the Shuei-Shing Temple and realize the culture of Taoism temples. The thesis has five chapters: The first chapter is about research motivation and literature review. The second chapter discusses the history and style of the belief in the Shuei-Shing Temple to realize the importance and value to the local residents. The third chapter discusses the feature of temple’s building style, ornament, cultural and historical relics to find out the importance of the artistic worth of the construction. The fourth chapter introduces the activities of worship on festivals. People can have a more profound recognization by observations and the record of these activities. The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The Shuei- Shing Temple consists abundant of religion faith and ancestor’s spirit, thinking, art of temple construction. The purpose of this thesis is to deeply study this temples on overall documentation and research. It’s expected to have benefits of local historical records of this temple.
