Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 應用心理學系碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purposes of this study were to understand retired teachers' eldly life plan and adjustment, discuss the process of positive aging as well as understand the relation between retired teachers' adjustment and positive aging.In order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the method of qualitative study was adopted for in-depth interviews with 5 retired teachers in the elementary and junior high schools of Miaoli County. Based on the objectives, an outline was drafted for semi-structured in-depth interviews. The data were compiled, analyzed and generalized with the following conclusions:Early cultivating interests helps the retired teachers adapt their retirement well. The fact that five participants pointed out are as follows: (1) Having independent ability can live a life with dignity. (2) Keeping optimistic and cheerful can live a carefree life. (3) Cultivating interests can lead a fulfilling life. (4) Having good interpersonal relationship can lead a happy life.
