However, the task of effectively manage this kind of assets is always very difficult and it put much pressure on any managers. Nowadays, many organizations in the world have seen knowledge management (KM) as the most effective tool to mange knowledge assets. However, the establishment and implementation of KM in organizations are strongly affected by many factors. Therefore, if an organization would like successfully adapt KM in their management activities, it must define all of its influent factors and have right policies to cope with those factors. This research aims at recommending a suitable KM strategic framework for Vietnam Electric Power University (EPU), a leading electric university in Vietnam with a very complicated structure. To achieve the final objective, the author has read many different articles and report to have more knowledge and information about KM, KM strategy, and the situation of EPU. In addition, the author also has interviews with some managers at different management level of EPU to consult their opinions about the characteristics of EPU fitting with KM strategic framework implementation. From the results of research process, the author has developed an effective and relevant KM strategy for EPU. The author has also pointed out that EPU has capacities to successful adapt KM strategy in their operation and KM will help EPU enhance its management quality and improve its performance. However, in order to meet all the requirement of KM strategic framework, EPU needs to have plans to overcome its current weaknesses and build up the capacity to take full advantages of KM in long term.
