Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理學院管理碩博士班 === 101 === Abstract This paper studies the relationship between knowledge creation modes (SECI) and open service innovation (OSI). Furthermore, the role of diversity in education and function in this relationship is also examined. Utilizing data from 125 service teams, this study reports that externalization (E) and internalization (I) are positively correlated with the generation of open service innovation, whereas combination (C) is negatively correlated with the generation of open service innovation, and socialization (S) is insignificant for the generation of open service innovation. With the implication of educational and functional diversity in the relationship between knowledge creation and open service innovation, this study finds that educational diversity is insignificant for the relationship between SECI and OSI and that functional diversity is insignificant for the relationship between SI and OSI but is significant for the relationship between EC and OSI. The implications of these findings are also discussed.
