If the design and development of a product can reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the quality, it will be the source of competitive advantage. In the current era of customization, customer demand has become the driving force and indicator of product development, thus to meet customer demand for the product design and development is today’s important trend. A successful product depends on its decision making of the development processes; therefore, this study aimed to the perspective of axiomatic design, and combined with fuzzy theory to more precisely analyze the coupling problem caused by two or more functional requirements in product design, and through the innovative and inventive principles of TRIZ, it tried to seek for the design parameters to solve the conflict or contradictory of functional requirements; then through fuzzy information axiom to effectively measure product design solutions, and select the best one. Finally, this study picked a southern factory as an example to assess the feasibility and practicability of the models in this research.
