碩士 === 景文科技大學 === 文化產業與創新設計所 === 101 === In my research, I found that different religious prayers practice beliefs by using similar functions of objects. For example,Buddhist prayers use beads, Catholic prayers use rosaries, Islam Muslim payers use beads, and Christian prayers use ropes, etc. Everyone is chasing its own happiness and success, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or religion. After my research on the cultural of prayer beads, I realize that religion is a seamless mix of our lives. Hence, prayer beads are part of the religious culture. Prayer beads also exist in our lives. To make life religious, and to blend culture of prayer beads into the lives of ordinary people, I utilize different materials from traditional prayer beads and convert them into fashionable decorations. Prayers beads are not just prayers beads. They also bring luck, good fortune, and peace.Furthermore, they are not only decorations, like jewelry, and but also become part of costumes. I make payer beads closer to modern lives. 108 prayer beads are equivalent to 108 different kinds of troubles. Based on this concept to design modern jewelry, prayer beads become not only an aesthetic jewelry but also a symbolic talisman（mascot）which possesses priceless value and uncountable merit. The series of theme is "the rhythm of life". Different life events produce different melodies with high and low tides, but they vary beautifully. The author combines crystal textures and wires with the concept of splendor colors, cloud grain, unique lucky patterns, inner beauty and natural flow,to freely shape the life of praising and blessing into auspicious prayer beads. A fortune comes from the spiritual satisfaction. I wish the person who holds "Blessing Butterflies", "Look very Happy", "Good Luck", or "Annual Surplus" enjoying “Beautiful life”, “Happiness”, “All wishes come true”, and “Full of joy”.
