They are using the brand new sensor technology to control the game to replace the tradition joystick. This type of new games make players play directly and more convenient. So far, most of the motion sensing device are reacted with games, but after Kinect was invented and released, there are more related application and technology are being researched, like Medical Research, Educational Research, Space Advanture, Art and Music, and rehabilitation …etc. Facing to the challenge of aging society, some research organizations are starting to pay attention on developing some monitoring/control systems due to aging people. But the traditional visual camera can only provide limited messages, which cannot interpret or to be analysis detail such as the depth and the human reaction. Because of the difficulty of understanding the reaction of aging people while the accident happens, this research will be assisted with Kinect motion controller. Using Kinect to know the relative position of human body and the hands’ reaction by the depth sensor consists of infrared laser projector; to locate the acoustic source by array microphone; then turn the sensor to focus and analysis.
