Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 101 === In this study,the effect of virtual computer numerical control lathe on the operation training assistance was investigated for the senior students at a vocational high school.The participants in this experiment were divided into two groups:one is the control group and the other is the experimental group. Each of the groups contains 18 participants.The teaching instruments in the control group are mainly physical machine tools while those in the experimental group contain both physical and virtual machine tools.The learning effectsof knowledge learning and practical operation training were evaluated based on four teaching units:(1)controller operation, (2)basic NC programming and machining, (3) advanced NC programming and machining, and (4)comprehensive test. For the effects of knowledge learning, all of the four unitsare insignificantly different for both groups. However, for the effects of practical operation training, though the basic programming and machining and the comprehensive test are insignificantly different for both groups, the effects of the controller operation and the advanced programming and machining for the experimental group are significantly better than those for the control group. The experimental results in this study could be usedas a reference for teaching strategy planning and the assistance tools are suggested to be adopted on practical operation training of machines.
