Five-axis machining has two more rotating axes than the traditional three-axis machine and can be used for more efficient cutting.Therefore making of jewelry with a five-axis machine can reduce the processing time and without the need of complex fixtures.
In this study,through discussion with several senior master and jewelrymakers,Use small Five-axis machine by from our lab and PMC, combine traditional jewelry designs.Investigation five-axis machining applied to jewelry feasibility and practicality with jewelry expert interviews was also conducted.The use of five-axis machining in jewelry can reduce the traditional jewelry production time and manpower,future also be combined medical and high technology,let Taiwan traditional jewelry industry's regeneration and improve international competitiveness.
