The base on the results, seismic evaluation and retrofit of school buildings would be finished. In this study, post occupancy evaluation of Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method was discussed by the results of seismic evaluation and retrofit design for the school buildings. The impact factors, such as the response of earthquake response, the reduction for ductility and the resistance shear capability of components, were concluded. According to the Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method developed by National Center For Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE), the horizontal shear strength of RC column which could provide for earthquake attacked is 15 kgf/cm2. In this study, general RC column which could provide for earthquake attacked is 7.005 kgf/cm2. And short RC column is 9.642 kgf/cm2.
