Description
Summary:碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 資訊科技應用研究所 === 101 === As technology develops fast, teaching activities should not only use blackboard, chalk, and poster. It is important “Information Education” is one of the seven themes in the Grade 1-9 Curriculum Guidelines. When computers, Lcd screens, projectors and interactive whiteboards are broadly utilized in the classroom, only limited amount of teachers have the sufficient skills to design the multimedia teaching resources. It is found that teachers do not have strong interests apply the information technology in their teaching in general. E-Textbook created by the textbook publisher could possibly solve this problem. In this study, the author mainly investigates how students’ learning motivation and effectiveness vary when teaching with the E-Textbook and with the traditional instruction. Quasi-experimental design was applied, and pretest and posttest were applied in the experiment group and control group. The fifth graders in an elementary school in Kaohsiung City, were sampled in this study. The experiment group was instructed with the E-Textbook and the control group received the traditional instruction. Both groups accepted the tests of motivation scale, the midterm and final exams in mathematic and procrastinating exams after four weeks. The quantitative data of learning motivation was analyzed with one-way ANOVA and the learning effectiveness data was analyzed with t-test. The research findings include: 1. The group that received the e-texbook instruction had better “learning motivation”,“self efficacy” and “learning environment stimulation” than the group that received the traditional instruction. 2. The math exam score of the group that received the e-texbook instruction exceeded the group that received the traditional instruction. 3. The learning retention in the math exam of the group that received the e-texbook instruction exceeded the group that received the traditional instruction. Last but not least, hope this study can be the reference of instructional technology application in the elementary schools.
