How to get them to relieve the pressure of work, enhance job satisfaction, correct orientation healthy personality, and maintain a happy and harmonious physical, mental and spiritual level. Therefore, This research comparative analysis the characteristic of road maintenance and new eengineering construction personality , job stress and satisfaction.spss20 method will used on this questionnaire, based on the of Third District for Highways Maintenance Bureau and under the jurisdiction of Kaohsiung, Chaozhou, Jiasian, Taitung, GuanShan, Penghu, Fengkang, Chishan, LiLin and Dongbin engineering Section. Furthermore, the East-West Express Way Kaohsiung South Works Agency under the jurisdiction of Works section of the first to the sixth road maintenance offices and new construction implementation of the sampling questionnaire, one by one to find out among a disguised relationship. Total of 37 pre-test questionnaire, 37 questionnaires, and formal questionnaire of 150 will use on this research. The 146 valid questionnaires and 4 invalid questionnaires from 150 questionnaires received. Use descriptive statistics analysis, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, post hoc comparisons of Scheffe method and Pearson correlation analysis to verify the hypothesis, this study showed: Highway maintenance and new engineering staffs' "personality traits", "working pressure", "job satisfaction" will differ due to different type of background of "Gender", "Marital status", "Job description", "Age", "Educations", and "Years of work". The overall results is therefore differ slightly. This study, according to the conclusions and suggestions, will provide to the highway authorities or related organizations as a reference.
