Through this study, we want to know how much the parents know about this policy and how much they support it. As parents in Changhua to be persons we surveyed, we have delivered 460 questionnaires. We retrieved 388 questionnaires, including 302 valid questionnaires and 86 invalid questionnaires. The effective response rate is 66%. Ways to analyze data include descriptive statistics and one way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of this research says: 1. The value of parents knowing about the twelve years education is higher than the average. Although the value of parents knowing about this educational policy is higher than average, most of than are just about higher a little than the average. So we can tell that most of parents know part of this educational policy, not all of it. 2. The value of parents supporting to the twelve years education is higher than the average. To the most part of this educational policy, the value of parents supporting it is much higher than the average. The value is lower only when the score is the same and there are not enough numbers of applicants, the school will make admission decisions based on lottery drawing. The value of parents supporting this part of the twelve years education is about higher a little to the average. 3. The value of parents having faith in the goal of this educational policy and its 4. relevant adjustment is lower than the average. In the survey of how much parents having faith in the goal of this educational policy and its relevant adjustment, there are only three from ten subjects are beyond the average, and the others are below the average. 5. But the value of being actually willing to attend those activities is lower than the average. 6. There is no significant relationship between the educational levels of parents and the level of knowing the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.3. There is no significant relationship between them. 7. There is no significant relationship between the educational levels of parents and the level of supporting the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.106. There is no significant relationship between them. 8. There is no significant relationship between the educational levels of parents and the level of having faith in the goal of the twelve years education and its relevant adjustment. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 0.736. There is no significant relationship between them. 9. There is no significant relationship between the parents of their children study in different grades and the level of knowing the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 0.91. There is no significant relationship between them. 10. There is significant relationship between the parents of their children study in different grades and the level of supporting the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.57. There is significant relationship between them. 11. There is no significant relationship between the parents of their children study in different grades and the level of having faith in the goal of the twelve years education and its relevant adjustment. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.102. There is no significant relationship between them. 12. There is no significant relationship between the parents of their children study in school of different levels and the level of knowing the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 0.959. There is no significant relationship between them. 13. There is no significant relationship between the parents of their children study in school of different levels and the level of supporting the twelve years education. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.069. There is no significant relationship between them. 14. There is no significant relationship between the parents of their children study in schools of different levels and the level of having faith in the goal of the twelve years education and its relevant adjustment. As a result of ANOVA, the value F is 1.273. There is no significant relationship between them.
