The study collects three different 5-year periods for study, i.e. 2004/05/31~2009/04/30、2006/11/30~2011/10/31、2007/04/30~2012/03/31. Final Taiwan Stock weighted indexes are all in perform conditions (weighted stock price index rising or falling 5%). It takes returns and risk assessment for Taiwan 50 (0050), Taiwan 50 Constituent Stock (excluding financial and photoelectric stocks) and Taiwan equity funds (first 20 on scale)and understands whether there are obvious differences between different investment targets. The study results indicate: At three different 5-year investment periods that Taiwan weighted indexes are perform, among three investment targets, i.e. Taiwan 50, Taiwan 50 Constituent Stock (excluding financial and photoelectric stocks) and Taiwan equity funds (first 20 on scale), the best average annual return rate does not have the tends of focusing on specific investment target; obvious differences of annual return rate exist in some individual stocks or single Taiwan equity fund. Additionally, when independent sample T is used to take annual return rate and risk assessment, in three 5-year weighted price index perform periods, there is no obvious difference between the Taiwan 50 Constituent Stock (excluding financial and photoelectric stocks) and Taiwan equity funds (first 20 on scale). Finally, the results provide the investors to make decision for fixed investment during the long-term investment, and give different points of view for more accurate strategy-making.
