Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 觀光事業學系碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to explore the participation motivation, leisure constraints, improving recreational experiences, and satisfying relationships between locals (Matsu) and tourists (Taiwan) in promoting the OP sailing and windsurfing. The purpose of this study was to promote OP sailing and windsurfing in DaPong Bay in Taiwan and TsuBi Bay in Matsu, by completing a questionnaire survey from December, 2012 to March, 2013, 375 valid questionnaires were received. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, Pearson correlation and importance-performance analysis (IPA). The findings were the following:1. Participants in windsurfing come in summer, from June to October. Active time indicated in the study shows an average time frame of 3 to 4 hours, but not exceeding 6 hours. Individuals share their experiences with friends and others, and thus promoting windsurfing by word of mouth. 2. Participants in windsurfing consider this sport to be entertaining, healthy, relaxing, which could build physical stamina and mental stability. 3. As for leisure constraint, recreationists generally agreed that windsurfing is less emphasized. Some personal experiences include a lack of skills and shortage of equipment. This study will discuss and give a few suggestions according to the results of the analysis for reference. Herewith suggestions as follows: 1. To provide more comprehensive recreational quality service. 2. To improve the safety of windsurfing and thus decrease or eliminate the accidents during water activities. 3. Sharing experiences and presenting workshops, thus promoting safety, responsibility and awareness, before, during and after active participation.
