Forty eight 23–week-old laying hens (Hendrix) were randomly assigned to 4 groups and received for 12 weeks, including 24, 43, 65 and 245 lumens LED light source . LED light source on production performance and egg quality of laying hens. The results indicated that the 65 lumens LED light source group was significantly increased the feed conversion efficiency (FCR) than control group at 8 and 12 weeks. Composts (SCMC) including the control group (corn-soybean meal diet), 0.5 , 1 , 2 and 5 % dried SCMC groups. The results indicated that the 2 % dried SCMC group was significantly increased the feed conversion efficiency (FCR) and shell breaking strength than control group at 4, 8 and 12 weeks. Supplemental SCMC groups were significantly elevated the Haugh Unit (HU) than that of the control group. However, there were no effect for eggshell weight, eggshell thickness and yolk colour score between the groups. Supplemented SCMC significantly decreased the egg cholesterol than control group at 8 and 12 weeks. On the basis of these observations, we concluded that SCMC could be a new source of offers potential benefits for egg quality and decreased the egg cholesterol of laying hens.
