Summary:碩士 === 明道大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 101 === Physical Education Attitude and Health Promotion Lifestyle of Junior High School Students in Chiayi City 英文摘要Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in physical education attitude and health promotion lifestyle and correlations between health promotion lifestyle and physical education attitude, among junior high school students with different background variables. In this research, the population was composed of junior high school students in Chiayi City. The Physical education attitude scale and the adolescent health promotion lifestyle scale were used as research tools. A total of 735 students from 8 schools were selected as research subjects. The collected data were later processed by descriptive analysis, one-way multivariate analysis of variance, t-test and canonical correlation. The level of significance for all the statistic tests was set at .05 in P Value. The results of the research were as follows: 1. Students tended to have positive physical education attitudes—the in general seventh、eighth graders were better than the ninth graders;boys were better girls;no significant difference in body mass index performance was discovered. 2. Students tended to have positive and active health promotion lifestyles in general-- The for graders seven were better eighth and ninth graders in the interpersonal support, aspect of nutrition and life enjoyment;girls had better scores in interpersonal support than boys;boys were better than girls in the scores of sports and behavior stress management;there are significant differences a mongo three levels of body mass index (BMI)performance was discovered, in the interpersonal support, health responsibility, and stress management. 3. There was a positive correlation between health promoting lifestyle and the attitude toward physical education-- Through the first canonical factor analysis, the stress management, interpersonal support and action intention in health promoting lifestyle scale had higher relationship, corresponsive, with affection, action intention and cognition.
