The subjects were the third students selected from an elementary school in Changhua City. The population consisted of 84 students. Three kinds of teaching method was adapted to teach writing , they are Computer Animation teaching, Powerpoint and Teaching VCD for 16 times of writing instruction. The data was collected and analyzed from the test of students’ attitude toward writing and their writing performance. Descriptive Statistics were used to assess students’ attitude toward writing and their writing performance both before and after the experiment.The quantitative data were analyzed through one-way ANCOVA to determine the effectiveness of the writing instruction. According to the results, the conclusions are as the following: A. Writing attitudes 1. Accepting different digital teaching, students had positive and significant effects on attitude toward writing. 2. The factor of ability grouping had positive and significant effects on attitude toward writing. B. Writing performance 1. Accepting different digital teaching, students had positive and significant effects on writing performance. There were no significant differences among the three treatment groups on the delayed post test. 2. The factor of ability did had no positive and significant effects on writing performance. Finally, based on the results of the study, this author proposes several suggestions from the aspects of school administration, teachers and future researches to be eference materials for future research.
