However, periodical dielectric waveguide can achieve the transmission of light wave with only a row of dielectric pillars. Therefore, periodical dielectric waveguide does not need wide area and does not restrain by geometry structure. It can transmit energy under any degree of corners, and it’s an advance concept of photonic controlling method. In this research, a wavelength demultiplexer with ring oscillator constructed by periodical dielectric waveguides is proposed. First, we introduce the characteristics and the analysis of periodical dielectric waveguides and use these characteristics to design bending waveguides. Then we use periodical dielectrics waveguide to design a ring oscillator, and discuss the characteristics of filtering with different parameters. The analysis data is used for designing the specific wavelength ring-oscillate filter, and wavelength splitter. By method of Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) the resonance wavelengths of this ring oscillator are 1.34 and 1.54 . The coupling efficiency of Output2 is 87% when the wavelength is 1.34m, and 89% when the wavelength is 1.54. The efficiencies of splitting of this splitter are 92% and 93% at the wavelength of 1.34 and 1.54. The extinction ratios are 7 (8 dB)and 11.5(10.6 dB), respectively.
