To accelerate the time to market, concept of modularity must be implemented into product design and product developing process. There is no method to combine Modularity Analysis and product developing process in the past literature. In this research, a component modularity method combining with product developing process was presented. This method contains two parts. The first part presents modularity demanding analysis and development process design. In modularity demanding analysis, feasibility check of modularity will be done. Furthermore, the effect of modularity on product clockspeed and customer’s purchasing will be analyzed. The second part presents design process setting. In development process design, postponement strategy and design chain operation reference will be implemented to develop each module in appropriate stage. The result of this research is applied in Taiwan Motorcycle Company in order to assist it to set up a process of developing new product with the concept of modularity. Industries could refer to the result of this research and apply in process of developing new product.
