For example, CADRG (Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics) is one of RPF (Raster product format, RPF) product. The goal of this study is “how to quickly create a CADRG map“. Since the CADRG image map product process uses different software to evaluate the efficiency and uses As-is-To-be method to analyze the process, so compare Digital mapping system and ArcGIS in 1/50000 topographic maps procedure in this study. The results show that ArcGIS process of 9-person in90-prints mode is the optimal strategy comparing with digital Mapping System process. The efficiency of time consuming saves 11% and labor costs 17%. And the core of ArcGIS is a good tool to build spatial database (Geodatabase, GDB) and design a mold of map. Finally, the core data of GDB table should be updated timely and create different types of map mold to fit different thematic maps.
