The TDTTPA show two absorption band in the range of 300-700 nm with the maximum absorption wavelengths at around 333 and 640 nm, A series of bulk heterojunction solar cells based on the blend of TDTTPA and [6,6]-phenyl C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) in different weight ratio were fabricated. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) was strongly dependent on the composition of the blends.
