Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 化學系所 === 101 === A series of vanadium(IV) complexes [V(Ln)B](ClO4)] (1d-4e) (n=1 – 4, B= dppz, d; dppn, e) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, ESI-MS, Cyclic Voltammetry and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Their activity and mechanism for photo-induced cleavage of supercoiled DNA are investigated under UVA light (365 nm) and blue light (430 nm) condition. Furthermore, Photocytotoxicity assay against Ca9-22 and SCC-15 cancer cells indicate that dppn vanadium(IV) complexes (1e-4e) show significant photo-induced cytotoxicity under blue light. These results give impetus to new therapeutic strategies for developing photodynamic drugs.
