Under such a tough competitive environment, RT-mart has established its leading position in hypermarket chains with its ascendancy over competitors in expanding its branches effectively and efficient process management. According to the public ranking report of top 100 chain enterprises, RT-mart was the top ranked foreign retailer for three consecutive years, from 2009 to 2011. Everyone, now, is amazed at RT-mart''s success. And, we try to reveal its successful experience by exploring its branch-expansion strategies in this dissertation.
