| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 中國文學系碩博士班 === 101 === Sung Yuan Hua-Ben novels were the products which storytelling kept developing for many years and that show in text form. The art of storytelling had reached its peak in Southern Sung dynasty. The subject matters of different kinds of storytelling are various and numerous. The main subject matters of the heterogeneous stories are “Lingguai” and “Yanfen.” “Gungan, Podau, and Fajibiantai”are also put in heterogeneous matters. The heterogeneous stories are popular with the multitude. Therefore, those became the hot subject matters for storytellers to perform. As time went by, the professionalization of storytellers, proficiency of artistry and Hua-Ben which Shuhuei assisted to write changed this artistry. The spoken communication of artisitcal storytelling changed into printing them in words. Then, it developed into the literary Hua-Ben novels.
There are six chapters in this thesis. The first chapter talks about the motives and purposes of research. It looks back pertinent literature of Sung Yuan Hua-Ben novels. Understand the researchable results of predecessors and then decide the subjects which can do more discussions. Then, demarcate the researchable range of Sung Yuan Hua-Ben novels and define heterogeneous categories and heterogeneous stories’ topics. Finally, it touches upon the methods and moves of research. Explain the processes of research and the threads of discussions.
The second chapter discusses the factors of producing heterogeneous stories in Sung Yuan dynasty and how to promote the prosperousness of heterogeneous stories from the background, social customs, literary tendencies, and religious beliefs.
The third chapter talks about circumstances of heterogeneous things which show in human world or other world and the time when heterogeneous things will show in human world. Synthesize these time and circumstances to think what the special meanings about heterogeneous things’ emergence will have.
The forth chapter is about three common subjects in heterogeneous stories. Analyze the stories of marriage, vengeance, and changed subjects in proper order. Try to understand subjects’ meanings deeply.
The fifth chapter includes three parts. First, talk about Sung Yuan Hua-Ben novels’ sources and ways of obtaining materials which get from classical Chinese novels in Jin dynasty, Tang dynasty and Sung dynasty. Then, focus on analysis of Shiubu writings, imitated writings and reverse writings. Finally, according to the narrative methods, compare classical Chinese novels with Hua-Ben novels. That will reveal different aspects in these two texts which have same or similar stories and that also shows the narrative characteristics in Hua-Ben novels.
The final chapter makes a conclusion of research results of this thesis. It approves the value and particularity of heterogeneous stories in Sung Yuan Hua-Ben novels.
