Railway dietary cultural areas covered is quite extensive, there are station resturant, railway platform store, hawker selling food at railway platform, restaurant car, only first-class restaurant car in the early, and third-class restaurant car later put into operation, these types of railway dietary culture are stay in Taiwan today. Another railway dietary cultural is the Taiwan Railway Hotel , there are only two railway hotel ─The Taiwan Railway Hotel and The Tainan Railway Hotel, in taiwan on Taiwan under Japanese colonization, Taiwan Railway Hotel during the thirty years of operation, is the official various important events and meetings held in place, The Tainan Railway Hotel is Taiwan's only one station with the hotel buildings integrated. After completion of the North-south Railway, a lot of new types of dietary culture began to flourish with the railway, new foods,restaurants and hotels, have appeared in this country, and gradually began to integrate into people's lives, Taiwan's food culture, adding a lot abundant element.
