The prevalence of domestic research is about 6.3-12.04%. The core reason for ADHD children's behavioral symptoms is in the impairment of executive function, which neuropsychological research has confirmed is caused by the prefrontal cortex and striatum circuit abnormal function. Objective: To investigate the complex sensorimotor training of ADHD’s effects on (a) visual attention, (b) working memory, and (c) the information processing capabilities. Methods: The subjects of this study are 18 participants with possible ADHD, aged 6-10 years. The training lasted for eight weeks: 60 minutes each time, twice a week. The project tested for three different degrees of difficulty via a visual maze that were held before and after the training. Results: (a) After eight weeks of the complex sensorimotor training, the ADHD subjects’ visual attention had significant improvement, but also had enhanced overall performance of stability. (b) The children with ADHD improved in working memory performance but did not show significant difference. (c) The children with ADHD significantly improved in the information processing capacity. Conclusions: After eight weeks of complex sensorimotor training, visual attention, working memory, and the information processing capacity in children with ADHD have improved. We proposed that the combined effects of aerobic exercise and sensorimotor training promoted their brain neurotransmitter secretion and activate the prefrontal cortex, so that improved the performance of executive function.
