Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院工業工程與管理學程 === 101 === Due to the rapid change of economic growth and diversified society, the traditional family structures are changed accordingly. Women employees are increased much more than ever. Traditionally, when the babies were born, the parents or the elders will look after the newborn babies. However, babysitting by family members has turned into the professional babysitters, or the baby day-care center. Due to the oversupply of the baby daycare center and low birth rate in recent years, the requirements of the government to the baby daycare centers cause a lot of pressure to all the daycare centers. The main objective of this study is utilizing the Balanced Scorecard and the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) management model to develop performance indicators for a baby daycare center in Hsinchu City. The case-study demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed performance indicators. The result of this study could be utilized as a reference to all childcare institutions to develop their own performance indicators and increase the capability of competitions in the daycare market.
