In order to accomplish the purpose, this study mainly employed questionnaire survey, the sample was selected by randomly technique stratified from mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools in Taiwan. Moreover, the total questionnaires of this study were 2350, the number of questionnaires collected validly was 2019, and the response rate is 85.9%. The instrumentation of study were “Questionnaire of the Creativity of Thinking” and “Questionnaire of the Project Study of Learning Achievement”, the reliability of the instrumentations were 0.955 and 0.950 respectively, and the questionnaire of validity employed content validity of experts. The study employed the following technique : descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and one-way factor analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The following results were based on this study: 1. The creativity of thinking of mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools reached the status level of middle to high, the application of “sensitivity” was the best under the creativity of thinking. 2. The project study for learning achievement of mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools reach the status level of middle to high, the effect of “cognitive learning” is the best under the project study of learning achievement. 3. The difference among various backgrounds of the mechanical engineering group students at vocational high schools were “if participate competition”, “different of school location”, and “different of the family parenting style”. All above had significantly different under the creativity of thinking. 4. The difference among various backgrounds of the mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools were “difference of school location”, “difference of school divisions”, “difference of the family parenting style”, and “if participate competition”. All above had significantly different under the project study for learning achievement. 5. The correlation between creativity of thinking and project study for learning achievement of mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools, “overall the creativity of thinking” had higher significant correlation with “affective learning”, and “learning skills”; the “originality” had lower significant correlation with “academic”. 6. The multiple regression analysis about creativity of thinking and project study of learning achievement of mechanical engineering cluster students at vocational high schools, the “originality” can make excellent prediction.
