Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 化學系 === 101 === In order to obtain high-nuclearity Fe-S complexes to mimic the active sites of Fe-S cluster proteins, we investigated the reaction between Bis(2-hydroxyphenyl) disulfide, (LS)2, and [HFeCO4]-. When 1.5 molar equiv. of (LS)2 reacted with [HFeCO4]-, an unique tetrameric [Fe4O6] complex (3) was produced. The reaction of 2.0 molar equiv. of (LS)2 with [HFeCO4]- gave a known dimeric complex (2), which can be oxidized by NO(g) to gain an interesting mononuclear compound (4). Finally, the one-pot reaction of 1.5 molar equiv. of (LS)2, 4 molar equiv. of sulfur, and [HFeCO4]-, gave a [Fe4S4] cluster complex (5). The molecular structures of complexes 3, 4 and 5 were obtained by X-ray diffraction analyses.
