Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系所 === 101 === A Study of Student Accommodation Management Service Quality Satisfaction in National Hemei Experimental School Cheng-Hao Chen National Hemei Experimental School Abstract The purpose of this study was to understand the importance and the satisfaction of student accommodation management quality in National Hemei Experimental School from the viewpoints of students and related personnel. Hemei Experimental School was a special education boarding school which mainly enrolled students with physical disabilities and/or multiple disabilities. A survey research method was adopted for this study. A total of 230 participants included 134 boarders, 40 boarders’ parents, 36 boarders’ homeroom teachers, and 20 boarder administrators in the 100th academic year. A self-developed research tool “The Importance and Satisfaction of Student Accommodation Management Service Quality Questionnaire” was used in the study, and the effective return rate was 93.48%. The collected data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, Wilcoxon signed ranks test, Spearman rank correlation, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance ranks and Importance-Performance Analysis. The results were as follows: (1) Boarders expressed that both ‘‘the dormitory hardware facilities’’and ‘‘food supply in the school cafeteria’’ had high degrees of importance but low satisfaction were the first two dimensions that should be improved. (2) Boarders’ parents expressed that ‘‘the cleanness and tidiness of the dormitory environment’’ had a high degree of importance but low satisfaction was the first one dimension that should be improved. (3)Boarders’ homeroom teachers expressed that both ‘‘boarder administrators service quality’’ and ‘‘food supply in the school cafeteria’’ had high degrees of importance but low satisfaction were the first two dimensions that should be improved. (4)Boarder administrators expressed that ‘‘the cleanness and tidiness of the dormitory environment’’, ‘‘the dormitory student leaders service quality’’, and ‘‘food supply in the school cafeteria’’ had high degrees of importance but low satisfaction were the first three dimensions that should be improved. (5)There were no significant differences among the different groups of participants in the degree of importance of the overall student accommodation management service quality. However, the boarders and their parents showed higher degree of satisfaction than homeroom teachers. Finally, according to the study results, the suggestions of improving the quality of student accommodation management services and the possible ways of research in the future are proposed to enhance the quality and effectiveness of student accommodation management services.
