Most general pressure transmitters are individual introduction with study, and less with analysis comparison. In this thesis, to the analysis and the comparison of Piezoelectric and Piezoresistive pressure transmitters, the main subject includes measuring characteristics, measurement principle, pressure range, response, and cost, etc., and in the text, we focus separately on the explanation of pressure measurement principle, the analysis of transmitters’ the composition and type, the characteristics introduction of Piezoresistive transmitters and Piezoelectric transmitters; and then give the analysis of pressure transmitters applied on hydraulic piping. Finally, this study confirms that the Piezoresistive pressure transmitters have the characteristics of higher voltage output, high sensitivity, high overpressure capability, poor measurement characteristic, fast response, low cost, etc. in accordance with the result of concerned analysis and comparison; and Piezoelectric pressure transmitters with the characteristics of Anti-electromagnetic interference, Anti-power dissipation,low pressure range, better measurement characteristic, slow response, and cost slightly higher.
