The study instrument includes“Self-concept Scale”,“Peer Relationship Scale”, and “Achievement Motivation Scale”. The data is analyzed with frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson product moment correlation, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. The main findings are as follows: 1. High school students with different background (such as different genders, grade, department or family socioeconomic) have significant differences in their self-concept, peer relation or achievement motivation. 2. For high school students, there is a significant positive relation of self-concept and achievement motivation. Meanwhile, there also exists a significant positive relation of peer relation and achievement motivation. 3. For high school students, their peer relation and achievement motivation can be effectively predicted by their self-concept. And their achievement motivation can be predicted by their peer relation as well. In this study, only limited variables of high school students, such as self-concept and peer relation, are investigated. Somehow, there are still many other variables may affect high school students' achievement motivation. Further more other effects added is suggested to extend the range of the study. Key words: Self-concept, Peer Relationship , Achievement Motivation Wang ,Yii-jen 王以仁 學位論文 ; thesis 112 zh-TW
