Summary:碩士 === 國防大學管理學院 === 資源管理及決策研究所 === 101 === Job burnout is the feeling resulted from the long-term perception of pressure. In Taiwan, nurse is an occupation filled with stress and burnout. This study examined the relationships among workplace social context, job context, and nurse burnout. The effect of psychological capital on these relationships are also investigated. The survey data was collected from 368 nurses working in the hospitals, and path analysis is adopted as the analysis tool. This empirical study shows: 1. Lack of professional recognition, tensions in interpersonal and work relationship, patient and relatives stress, and job demand have positive impact on emotional exhaustion . 2. Tensions in interpersonal and work relationship, patient and relatives stress have positive impact on depersonalization. 3. Lack of professional recognition has positive impact on reduce personal accomplishment. 4. The psychological capital strengthen the positive relationship between lack of professional recognition and emotional exhaustion. It also re-enforces the relationships between tensions in interpersonal and work relationship and all dimensions of job burnout.
