Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育學系碩士班 === 101 === Abstract This research aimed to establish the indicators of pre-service elementary school teachers’ core competences and to examine professional education program. The main purposes of this research are: (1) establishing the pre-service elementary school teachers’ core competencies and indicators in the National HsinChu University of Education. (2) examining the professional education program on the basis of the pre-service elementary school teachers’ core competences and indicators. (3) providing the suggestions to adjust or amend the professional education program in the National HsinChu University of Education. To achieve all the purposes mentioned above, we conducted the pre-service elementary school teachers’ core competencies and indicators in the National HsinChu University of Education through literature reviewing in the first step. Then, using the indicators to examine professional education program to know the important ratio of professional education program in every core competences and achievable level. According to the analysis of the data, three conclusions were made as follow: 1. This research established seven core competences and twenty-nine indicators. 2. The importance level of the core competencies and indicators of students’ assessment slightly lower than the teacher. The selection situation of the importance level in the first level “Basic and professional knowledge of education” have the biggest difference. The selection situation of the importance level in the fifth level “Education ethical concern competences” have the least difference. 3. All the professional education programs give great attention upon seven core competencies. The achievable level in the fifth level “Education ethical concern competencies” is the highest and the fourth level ” Class management and counsel competencies” is the lowest. Furthermore, the five programs for the important ratio of seven core competencies are different and the highest of achievable level of the five programs is Practical training and instructional materials and methods program. Based on the result of the discussions , some advices were made for (1)Adjusting to the professional education programs of National HsinChu University of Education. (2)Using the core competences and indicators. (3)Other teacher training institutions and further research.
