Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 生死學系 === 101 ===   The main purpose of this research was to explore current situation of bullying behaviors for high grade elementary school students, and to understand the correlations among children’s backgrounds (grades, gender, family status, and socioeconomic status) , personality and bullying behaviors. The instruments used in the study included “The Personality Scale” and “The Bullying Behaviors Scale”. The participants in this study included 653 fifth-grade and sixth-grade students in Changhua County. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by means of descriptive statistics, t-Test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. “Counterattacks bullying” happened most on the campus, however, “Sex bullying” and “Internet bullying” did not offten happen. 2. The bullying of the sixth-grade students was significant higher than the fifth-grade ones on “Relational Bullying” and “ Bullying behaviors” . 3. There were significant different. “Physical bullying”, “Relational bullying” , “Verbal bullying”, “Sex bullying”, “Internet bullying”, “Counterattacks bullying” and “ Bullying behaviors” between males and femals. Besides, males are higher than females. 4. “Counterattacks bullying” of high grade elementary school students by family status was significant. 5. “Sex bullying” and “ Bullying behaviors” of high grade elementary school students by socioeconomic status were significant. 6. “Conscientiousness”, “Neuroticism”, “Agreeableness” were significantly correlated to bully behaviors of high grade elementary students. 7. “Conscientiousness” , “Intellect or Openness to Experience”, “Neuroticism” could predict the bullying behaviors of high grade elementary school students effectively.     The study not only discussed the research results, but also gave some suggestions to parents, teachers, concerned organizations and researchers of extended studies.
