The study uses qualitative research methodology with semi-structured interviews and also on-site observations. Six aspects of the program are analyzed, including (1) sources of teachers and students and their attendance rate,(2) the planning of curricula and learning environment, (3) the planning of time schedule and location, (4) assurance of students’ transportation and safety, (5) fund raising and operation, (6) consultancy visits.     Major findings from this study are as following: I. Performances of the program 1.improving disadvantaged students’ study and care 2.providing nutritious and tasty supper and safe study rooms 3.planning appropriate study room, schedule and curricula 4.using proper community resources to promote study performance 5,promising the program to be extended to junior high schools II. Satisfaction survey on the program 1.students’ progress and continuous support to the program are recognized 2.school administration’s great devotion and efforts are appreciated 3.good interaction among parents, teachers and students are stimulated III. difficulties faced by the program 1.hard to expect high teaching outcome with mixed grade classes 2.hard to recruit teaching staff with high workload while low pay     Following these findings relevant suggestions can be derived towards educational authority, school administration and students’ parents.
