The research findings are as follows: 1. How volunteers of Life Line learned of the information on volunteer recruitment: most of them learned of it through newspapers, followed by friends. 2. Motivations of volunteers of Life Line: their primary motivation was to pursue spiritual self-growth, help others and learn helping skills. Their secondary motivation was to make friends, achieve the objective of self-realization and improve quality of life. 3. Achievement and growth of volunteers of Life Line during their service period: what they gained during helping others was more than what they contributed to. 4. Greatest contributions of volunteers of Life Line during their service period: they mainly helped cases overcome predicaments and get rid of slumps, followed by cooperating with the association to attend the shifts normally and trying not to escape from duty. Their greatest challenge was to strengthen the ability to take the cases and to handle suicide cases. They still had to continue learning such skills. 5. Reasons for volunteers of Life Line to continue future volunteer participation: the primary reasons are to help people grow through adversity and to strengthen the motivation of helping others. The secondary reasons are to continue learning skills and continue contributing to the society. The reasons for the future non-participation are: the main reason was poor health status, followed by lack of capacity. 6. Volunteers of Life Line had to improve their counseling profession of: various psychological consultation and counseling skills. 7. The satisfaction perceived by volunteers of Life Line during their service period mainly included: getting along well with partners and making more friends. Their dissatisfaction included: changes and uncertainties of organization, which led to the internal chaos. Several suggestions were proposed for counseling volunteers of Life Line according to the research findings as reference for the follow-up studies by Life Line Association and government departments.
