Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 生物機電工程學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this thesis is to develop a MPPT solar charge system by PSOC Embedded system. A self-designed buck converter is used to charge queued batteries through solar cell. A PWM power controller is also designed to let users to control the output power from battery to electric mower through its variable resistor in order to save more electric energy. Finally, the designed electric modules were installed on the portable electric mower for outdoor mowing experiments. The experiments showed that we need only 5~6 hours to fully charge two batteries by our MPPT solar charge system and PWM power controller, when the average solar luminance is above 700W/m2. The operating time of our mower was about 56 minutes and the mowed area was about 140m2, which meet the general requirement for mowing in the most B&B inns and the villas in Taiwan. When compared to the original direct-coupled technique to connect batteries to the mower, our mower could work longer for more than 86.65% of time and mow larger more than 59.3% of area.
