The platform is built based on Moodle version 2.3.2, which is the best management platform for online digital learning courses and easy for both teachers and students to operate. The subjects of this study are first grade students from junior schools in Kaohsiung City, with 35 students in each class. After evaluation, the probative questionnaire of evaluation platform is used for quantitative analyses. As for the study methods, the online level evaluation classifies students into three levels, allowing students in each level to participate in the practice and assessment. The adaptive mode is adopted in the part of practice, meaning that students can retry immediately when their answers are marked as incorrect, while scores will be deducted each time. Moreover, the instant feedback and fast scoring can be realized in the part of assessment, as well as the statistic analysis on assessment results, so that the teachers can learn the teaching effects which can be used as guidelines for correcting teaching approaches. This study finds that the students who use online evaluation platform are more concentrative and likely to try than those who respond on traditional papers. In addition, it also shows that the functions of online evaluation such as obtaining scores immediately, process of solving math problems attract more interests from students, so that their interests can be cultivated through reviewing and relearning the contents in each level. Furthermore, they can also compare their scores with others in the class, and then obtain the motives of studying in competition so as to achieve effective learning finally.
