Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 國文教學碩士班 === 101 === One of the teaching methods inside Guidelines for Facilitating Character and/or Moral Education Programs is Explanation, meaning moral education should be confined in old fashion way such as memorizing rules. Instead, we should make students think and communicate. This thesis concerns how to enlighten students by telling and appreciating jokes. On top of that, this article clarifies the differences between jokes and morality and make a short summery of the book called 《笑得好》. In this book, it mentions that jokes actually do not only entertain people but also expose the dark sides of humanity----- greed, stint, hypocrisy, vileness, and unreason ,which give teachers good resources to discuss about honesty, respect, tolerance, gratitude, self- discipline, and responsibility.
