Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 美術學系 === 101 === This paper discusses the author’s creative process during 2008-2013, which the focuses on creative thinking and studying investigation during the time she was in Master’s degree. Her works are presented in different forms and various creative approaches, but the main idea is to explore herself and search for self identity. The author discusses self definition from different perspectives in different areas. From subconsciousness, individual’s body perception, self-phenomenon, and the existence of time and space, she discovers that self orientation cannot be separated. Every dimension contains considerable significance to self-orientation. Just like when all her compositions created during the creative process are closely related, it dose not take the entire creative process into account by reviewing and discussing one piece of her creation. The structure of the paper is divided into three main blocks. 1. Looking inside: expressing the subconsciousness into the picture from body perception and discussing the impact of inner soul to self-orientation. 2. Looking outside: exploring the relationship between external conditions and self-orientation with the environment and era one individual lives in. 3. Self-Construction: matching the creative process and self-concept’s disruption, rebuild and recognition. Through the work of her creations chronologically, the context of art history reflects the growing of the author. The author searches for the meaning of existence by going from exploring the individual to the existence of the collective in the society and back to the individual status. Based on this context and structure with various perspectives and in between space rendezvous and the connection between physical and virtual, she completely accomplishes the balance between intrinsic and extrinsic self-orientation.
